The Beauty of Nature

I suppose these are nothing more than pressure cookers with a use for the steam coming off. Still they are a sight to behold.

I liked this train, it was so twee. I suppose those of you into trains will tell me off for saying that, but it looked so sweet to me.

I took a trip on the local narrow gauge railway. It was small and bijou and quite fun apart from the weather.

These are a couple of shots of te towers at the station, one highlighting the sky, the other the towers.

I always love the quaint way we stop people from crossing railways. As if it is a real deterrent.

As you can see, the station is a little old fashioned and basic really.

It still has the old water tower for steam trains; gentler times eh?

This is a little place in Cumbria I went to recently, it’s called Foxfield and is very small and empty. It has one road going through it and most people never stop as there is only a pub and station here.

I?ve not been slacking off just because I have not posted recently. I have been very busy of late adding to the garden and reshaping things here and there. I shall be showing you soon, when I am ready of course.

This is almost a distant memory at the moment. February has been a dark dull month again. I’m looking forward to getting out in the garden again to see how my bulbs are doing.

These look rather like ice cream cones with their snow tops on.
