I thought the gas pump in the flowers was an interesting contrast.

I liked this old house as it looked out of place and the fuel pump in someone’s garden was a nice touch.

This is the town itself. Not much to speak of, more like out of a spooky film.

I cant imagine capturing crabs/lobsters round there, but they must I guess.

Sand and sky. Well not quite, it is just a brown aggregate really; quite firm.

Some more views of the estuary. What you don’t see here is that it was very windy, just like today really.

I realise the pictures do not do it justice, but to see a train, however small, pick up steam as it rumbles towards you, is an amazing sight.

This is the view of the estuary at Ravenglass when the tide is out. It it amazing to see.

A lovely name, named after the local river in the next few photos. You can see the river from the train for some of the journey.
