Crocus

This year we have been lucky and the rain has not been so hard or frequent. It’s meant the crocuses have been able to flourish. In previous years the rain has battered them down and they have come and gone almost as soon as they arrived.

Daffodils

Some more of my daffodils here. These are adifferent variety to the others. I liked them because of the ‘orange bit in the middle’, a bit like my favourite biscuit. 🙂 daffodil

Helibor

Here is a picture of one of my helibors. I have a few varieties, but these ones are my favourite as they contrast with the green leaves. I have another picture somewhere, I will look it out and post later.

Hyacinth

The Hyacinth’s are out. They look beautiful as usual. I moved them last year and, as you do, forgot where I planted them, so it was nice to finally find out. 😉

Daffodil

Well, it seems things are beginning to turn around now that the warmer weather is here. The daffodils are coming out and that?s a sure sign things are on the up. It?s been a long hard winter here so any warmth is welcome.

Tulip

A good sign that spring is rushing towards us are the tulips starting to bud in the garden. I?ve planted a few more varieties this year so I am looking forward to them opening out and filling the garden with colour.
