Not quite sure why it’s called British Camp, even after reading this, but the reason goes back about 1000 years.

British Camp has a grandstand view of the three counties.

The sun was so strong through the clouds, but it is hard to capture the magnificence here.

It seems that my friend has a garden that attracts wildlife of the larger variety.

They have sent me another picture of their latest early morning visitor.

I had a weekend away a fortnight ago when the weather was clear. It was nice to get away and relax, especially as there wasn’t much to do in the garden or plot.

I would recommend the hotel to anyone. The food was good and it feels very local rather than overdone. The walking nearby is great too. Some pics of that later.
