Hyacinth

This is a hyacinth bulb that used to be sitting indoors. I decided to plant it out and I’m hoping it will take. I expect it will require a year to grow its bulb and ‘feel’ ready to flower fully.

Busted Ladybird

I had this clay ladybird in the garden as an ornament. I don’t usually do the garden ornament thing, but I do like ladybirds.

It got damaged and I tried to fix it with ‘no more nails’. It seemed to work and then I foolishly left it out over winter and after the snow had melted it exploded in the heat as the moisture must have got in.

A rather inglorious ending for a ladybird.

Ooops!

This last picture is how it should have looked, did look, last year.

Fences

There are plenty of old fences around about. These caught my eye while out and about.

Snow Road

This is a dangerous road near me – too many trees with flowers on. The snow and ice made it worse.

Snow Tree

It has been cold of late round here and I have only just had a chance to put these pics up from last month.

Brrr. Cold.
